A done-for you speaker page and media kit sprint
You’ve already
DONE
THE WORK
to become
a speaker
LET’S GET YOU
BOOKED
A 2-week sprint that takes what you’ve already developed and turns it into a findable, send-able speaker page. Plus a media kit that makes you easy to work with from the first enquiry.you’ve already decided that
- YOUR MOVE -SPEAKING MATTERS
Now it’s time to package it properly. So you’ve been getting coached. Maybe you’ve got a talk or two planned. Maybe you’re a few engagements in, thinking about what’s next.
Either way, you’ve already made the real decision — that speaking is part of how you want your work to be known. The time, the money, the practice, the nerves on the day. That’s the big commitment. You’ve made it.
What you probably haven’t done yet is package it properly.
So when someone asks how they can book you, or share you with a colleague, or introduce you to a podcast host… you’re sending a quick message back saying “let me follow up”… and then doing it from scratch every time. Or maybe… not quite getting to it at all (?!).
That talk you’ve been perfecting does the work for you in the room, in the moment.
Your speaker page does that work everywhere else.
It offers the photo, the proof, the topics, and the context without them having to ask.
It says: This person thinks things through. They’re not going to disappoint.
I spent years as a publicist on the other side of this, pitching spokespeople and subject-matter experts into publications ranging from The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal, to Teen Vogue and O, The Oprah Magazine.
The ones who got picked up were qualified, yes, of course.
But they were also the ones who were easy to say yes to.
A podcast host scanning fifty pitches.
A conference organiser shortlisting speakers in a single afternoon.
A journalist looking for someone to quote by the end of the day.
When someone lands on your speaker page, they’re asking two significant questions:
Can she deliver?
Is she easy to work with?
A good speaker page answers both before you ever get on a call.
It shows you take the job of being a speaker seriously — that you’ve thought about your audience, your angles, your hook.
A BOOKER OFTEN DECIDES

When you book the Total Toolkit, we add 3 things to your 2-week Sprint:

SPEAKER STRATEGY SESSION
A 45-minute follow-up session, bookable within 30 days of delivery. Use it to review the first pitch responses, tweak the page based on real feedback, or plan your next move.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE PROCESS
Page or Toolkit, we’re not starting from scratch!
You’ve already developed your messaging, your topics, and your visuals through the work you’ve been doing. I translate that into a strategic, findable, send-able asset.
If anything’s genuinely not ready yet — say, you want to work on your bios, or refine your visuals a bit more — we’ll flag it when you get in touch and we can arrange a quick Asset Alignment session before your Sprint begins.
That way, your time is protected and your page is built on solid ground.
A two-week sprint
designed to maximise your time
You already have enough on your plate. So this sprint is designed to require very little of you — the bulk of the work is done by me, making the most of what you’ve already developed. HERE’S HOW IT GOES: WEEK 0: BOOK + PREPPay your deposit, reserve your spot, book your kickoff call, and fill in a short intake form. I ask for the form at least 24 hours ahead of our first call so we can use that time for direction and discussion, not data and details.
We talk through your messaging, topics, visuals and what you want the page to do. By the end of the call, you’ll know exactly where your project is going and what to expect next.
KICKOFF CALL: 30 MINUTESWEEK 1: DRAFT + DISCUSSI draft your page (and media kit, and pitch, if you’ve chosen the Toolkit). You get a mid-point check-in to give feedback and ask anything that’s come up.
WEEK 2: REFINE + FINALISEOne final round of revisions, then your assets go live. You get a Loom walkthrough so you can update things yourself down the line.
AFTERCARE: 1 MONTH LATERIf you’ve chosen the Total Speaker Toolkit, you can book your 45-minute strategy session anytime in the following 30 days — to review pitch responses, refine the page after real feedback, or plan what’s next.
Hi. I’m Laurie.
I’m a brand and marketing consultant and the founder of Source Marketing Studio. Through flexible, fractional-style strategy and creative I help other consultants, experts and founder-led businesses figure out what to say about what they do, to attract the people they really want to work with.
The brands, messaging, websites, and marketing assets I build with my clients make their businesses feel easier and work better. My work is built around one conviction: that the way we communicate has real power — to create clarity, community, and change.
Before all this, I spent years in PR in New York, pitching spokespeople and subject-matter experts into publications ranging from The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal to Teen Vogue and O, The Oprah Magazine. Which is another way of saying: I know what a good pitch looks like, what a booker is actually reading for, and what gets a pitch email ignored and forgotten. When I build your speaker page and media kit, I’m building them with those eyes.
As a mum of three, I’m especially good at spotting synergies, coaxing order from chaos, and taming competing priorities. You can learn more about me on my own speaker page, which is right here. What absolutely lights me up is helping people figure out what they uniquely contribute to the world — and setting them up with the tools to do it really, really well.
if this is for you
HERE’S HOW YOU KNOW
THE SPEAKER PAGE SPRINT IS FOR YOU IF:
• You’ve already invested real time and energy in your speaking — and you’re ready to turn that into assets that work as hard as you have.
• You want someone to build the page and write the copy and think strategically about how it all connects. Not a designer who’ll ask for your words. Not a copywriter who’ll hand off to a designer. One person, holding the whole thing.
• You’d rather spend the time pitching than wrestling with your own website on a Sunday.
• You want a page that grows with you — so as your talks evolve and your bookings stack up, you can update it yourself without starting over.
IT’S PROBABLY NOT THE RIGHT FIT IF:
• You haven’t done the underlying thinking yet — your messaging is still forming, or you’re not sure what you speak about. (That’s a different conversation. Start with The Signal Finder or send a message and we’ll figure out where to begin.)
• You want a full website, not simply a speaker page. (We can talk about that too — it’s just a different type of project.)
• You’re not sure if you really want to be a speaker after all. Investing in a speaker page is definitely a step towards making it all feel even more real, and building even more momentum!
QUESTIONS
you might be asking
Couldn’t I just put this together myself?
1
Probably, yes! The question is whether you actually will — and whether the version you’d make on a Sunday is the version you’d actually send to a podcast host or conference booker. Your “I’ll get to it” list is already long. A 2-week sprint with someone who’s done this before (and who gets the strategy and writes the copy and does the design) means you spend those two weeks pitching, not designing.
What if my signature talk changes in 6 months? Will the page be outdated?
2
Your talk probably will evolve — most do. What doesn’t change as fast is your brand, your expertise, and the core problem you speak about. That’s what the page is anchored in. And because it’s built on your own site or a platform you control, you can swap in new talks, new photos, new testimonials as they come. You’ll get a Loom walkthrough showing you exactly how.
You’ll have more than you think. One strong talk, one good photo and one host testimonial is already plenty to work with. An early speaker page isn’t a retrospective — it’s a forward-facing positioning tool. It leans on your expertise, your angles and your brand purpose now, and grows with you as you book more. There’s real power in packaging it all together intentionally.
I’ve only just started speaking. Do I have enough to fill a speaker page? And do I really need one?
3
What do I actually do with my speaker page once it’s built?
4
The page lives on your website (or as a standalone page, if you don’t have a website) and establishes you as a speaker in the mind of anyone who visits your site. This alone helps elevate your authority.
Most importantly, it’s an easy way for someone considering working with you to get a sense of what you offer. You can use it as context when you are proactively pitching, and it will be SEO-optimised to help make it findable by anyone looking for a speaker with your expertise. To really help you make the most of your speaker page, you might consider the Total Speaker Toolkit, which also includes a pitch drafted and ready to send, and a 45-minute strategy session you can use once the first responses start coming in.
How much of my time will this take? And what if I need changes after it’s published?
5
From your side: one 30-minute kickoff call, a short intake form, one mid-point check-in, and a final round of revisions. That’s it. You’ve put in the effort, and now most of this process happens on my side. You’ll get two rounds of feedback built into the process (one at the mid-point, one at final delivery), so there’s room to refine without it dragging on.
With the Loom walkthrough, updates down the line are something you can do yourself.
I don’t want to publish anything online about my speaking. Are there any other options?
6
Publishing your speaker page online helps make you more discoverable, both to “traditional” search engines like regular old Google, and to people searching using AI. But, if for any reason you don’t want to publish a page, we could talk about whether just doing a media kit (in a designed Google Doc) would be a better fit for you.
