THIS IS STRATEGY THAT

meets you where you are

And builds the system of tools to get you where you want to be.

For your marketing to really mean something - to you and your people — it has to come from the inside out. And that means going a little deeper than a freebie checklist and a DIY template.

It’s a big ask, to make your marketing truly feel like yours. It might feel hard at first, digging deep and putting your ideas out there. It’s easy to get stuck.

But that effort is what gives it meaning. Makes it shine through the madness. And makes it motivating — for you.

So it’s ok to get some help.

You’re creating something that will sustain your business better and longer than slapdash, semi-swiped and say-anything-so-you’ve-said-something.

Your people deserve to truly understand what you offer. And your offer deserves to be truly understood.

THAT’S what brings the right people to work with you. THAT’S what makes your brand system work.

Questions

 Frequently Asked

  • In most cases, you'll want to start with brand messaging to ensure you have a solid foundation to build the rest of your marketing toolkit on. If I've created a brand messaging guide for you, this gives you a 10% discount on your website copy because it makes the writing process smoother.

The best first step is to arrange a discovery call to establish exactly where you are and where you want to be. From there, I'll provide a custom proposal for you to consider.

In some cases, it will make sense to start with an audit of your existing website and marketing tools.

  • Most branding + website projects take about 8 weeks of focused work. Most of this, of course, is on me, but momentum does require some timely input from you, such as being interviewed or offering feedback. The specifics of the timeline will vary depending exactly what you need and are explained to you during the proposal/onboarding process.

It's useful to note that in looking at a "Website in a Week" type of package, this assumes that you've provided all of the copy and images/photography in advance so the designer can install/arrange everything on the website pages for you during that condensed timeframe. It's quicker, but it's not the same type of project.

Meaningful marketing does take some time, but it will serve you more sustainably.

  • Brand messaging guides usually start around £1250, with add-ons available for brand voice and visual brand identity design. You'll receive a custom quote for any recommended projects, including website strategy/design/copy, after our discovery call.

Creating a brand messaging guide with me entitles you to a 10% discount on your website copy because it makes the writing process smoother; visual brand identity design earns a similar discount on the website design. It's all connected :)

  • Intentionally establishing a strong brand strategy, message and identity before you create any other marketing tools helps you get it right the first time.

This way, you’re not just throwing pixel spaghetti on the page — you know exactly why your website and sales pages look and sound the way they do, and you feel good about it.

You’re creating a strategic, cohesive, sustainable system that simplifies planning, builds trust, and increases conversions.  This is what you do FIRST—so that what you do NEXT works.

  • Well, probably.  What you actually need is a home for your business. Somewhere you can send prospects and give them a sense of being in a safe pair of hands, that you are someone who can look after them.  In most cases, in online marketing, this means a website.

There’s a well-known book about UX best practices called Don’t Make Me Think (Steve Krug 🤓).  It means that the path of what people need to do to interact with your brand should be so obvious, there’s no doubt about what comes next.

Taking a step back… this applies to having a website.  These days, that’s just how most businesses operate. It’s the expectation, and there is a bit of cognitive dissonance to overcome if you don’t have one.

Could you get away with not having one?  Possibly.  For example, if you’re a local business that relies on referrals and local directory listings and can serve people in person or by phone.  Or it might work for you to come across as quaint, or quirky, or even elusive.

But in most cases, a clear, well-designed, visually appealing website that “talks” to your prospects in a way that resonates is going to go a long way to convincing your prospects that they want to do business with you.

  • I use Squarespace for websites because it makes life easier for you.  A good website isn’t stagnant — you’ll want to keep it updated with fresh blog posts, new pricing, special offers and more.  While I’m happy to help if you really need it, it’s ideal if you can do most updates yourself.  Squarespace makes this very easy for you, and their customer support is excellent. They also take care of things like security/technical updates behind the scenes.  And depending on your business needs, it can be a true all-in-one solution, with plans offering e-commerce, scheduling, invoicing, email marketing and more.
